Originally from Sweden, I have called the Costa del Sol home for over two decades. My journey in Spain has been defined by a deep love for this culture and a passion for helping others navigate it. Trilingual and academically trained in Spanish Philology and Psychology, I spent twenty years at the heart of the coast’s tourism and luxury sectors before founding SpainSimplified.

During my career in tourism—most recently as Sales Manager at one of the Costa del Sol’s premier golf clubs—I recognized a significant gap in the support available to international residents. I saw firsthand the challenges people face when trying to build a life here, and I created this company to bridge that gap.

I founded SpainSimplified to be the partner I wish everyone had when they moved here. My vision was to offer one-off consultations and translations as well as  in-person accompaniment and membership-based support that goes far beyond basic administration. My goal isn’t just to handle your paperwork; it’s to provide a comprehensive support system that ensures language, culture, and bureaucracy never stand in the way of your Mediterranean dream.
